FREQUENTLY   ASKED   QUESTIONS

1. How much do I need to pay to Reeza?

Nothing. There is no payment for the service. You might want to buy some food or souvenirs during the walking but you will pay directly to the store, not through Reeza.

2. Is Reeza qualified to be a tourist guide?

No. He has no license or any qualification by any Malaysian authority. He is just a normal soon to be ex-student that wants to fill up his free time.

3. Does Reeza have any experience in this service?

Yes, he has done it quite a few years back. He is such a spoiled brat and has nothing to do better in life - instead of gardening at his backyard or finding a paid job with a good salary, he prefers to stand in the middle of Banda Hilir and talk to random tourists.

4. Why suddenly I need to book him and not just bump into him at the city?

Because the temperature is pretty hot in Melaka and he wants to reduce his time under the sun (he might be a vampire actually). Besides, if there is no reason to go to the city, he wants to be such a good son by cleaning up the house hoping his parents will be happy after coming back from work.

5. Why the name is Walking With Reeza? Are we going to have so much walking?

If he has a private jet, he would definitely call it Flying With Reeza. Since walking is free, that is the most viable option for us. However, we might stroll, jog, climb, sit, lie and etc as an addition to walk so please be prepared.

6. What if I want to learn deeper about Malay lifestyle, can I sleep at his house?

Technically, that is his parent's house, so you might need to request it earlier. Every request is not be guaranteed to be accepted. You might want to bribe him with free dinner to increase your chance to be accepted. But again, since that is not his house, coupled or female applicants might not have an equal chance compared to single male applicant.

7. During the session, I don't find the chemistry with him and feel that he is such a weird boring person. What should I do?

Please use the secret code - praising how handsome and nice he is but suddenly you feel like you have a jet lag and diarrhea at the same time, thus you have to excuse yourself immediately. He will understand.

8. Will Reeza discriminate me based on my nationality, religion, race, sexuality and gender?

No. Equality and social justice is really close to his heart therefore it is very unlikely for him to act that way. In fact, he might even share you his experience and have some meaningful discussion regarding this matter.

9. Can I ask a refund for any reason?

Thank God since there is no receipt (because you don't pay anything), Reeza will not be obliged to refund your money.

10. What if I involved with any accident or unexpected incident during the session?

Please don't sue him, he has no money to pay you in court. But seriously, please be careful and travel with your insurance.

11. Can I request for destination outside Melaka?

If you're lucky enough he is at the same time going to that destination (or he has money to go to that place), yes we will gladly accept it.

12. Can I request for more than one person?

Yes, you can travel with your partner, husband, wife, friends, grandma, strangers or anybody as long as you mention it during the booking. But please don't bring a busload of people, he doesn't want to be that kind of tourist guide holding a weird flag. 1 to 4 people is an ideal number.

13. What if I am such a nice tourist and want to tip Reeza.

Of course he will gratefully accept it with an open heart. But, he will never expect or force you to tip him, even though he lives in America for four years where everything has to be tipped because that's how capitalists getting richer by only paying their employees a minimum wage.

14. Is money the only tip that Reeza will accept?

No, because he believes that money is not everything, but experience and sweet friendship is (except the time when credit company sends him a love letter to ask him to pay his bills). He is more than happy to accept a souvenir from your country such as key chain, currency note or fridge magnet, treat him Oreo McFlurry or cendol, or even a smile and promise to spread kindness to other human beings.

15. What if my booking is rejected?

Sadly, you still can't ask for your refund. Maybe he is not available at that moment, someone else already booked him or you request to go with him to Langkawi but he has no money and can only go as far as Melaka city. However, he is more than happy to give any advice or tips during your trips in Malaysia.

16. After submitting the booking form, what should I do next?

Please wait for several business days to get confirmation whether your application is accepted or not. He promises to reply every application.

17. If my booking is accepted, what should I do next?

Be excited, pack your stuff and on that day, please meet him at the designated time and place.

18. If my booking is accepted, but suddenly I have to cancel it for any reason, what should I do?

Please inform him as soon as possible and at least two days before the meeting date. If not, he might haunt your afterlife forever.

19. I am a Malaysian, can I book this service?

Yes, there is no discrimination towards nationality. In fact, you can request the service to be conducted in Malay or English.
